Who is Tasha Carter: Tasha Carter has been with the Department of Financial Services since 2003, serving nearly 9 years as Director of the Division of Consumer Services, where she led a team assisting over 300,000 insurance consumers annually.
Now Florida’s Insurance Consumer Advocate, she uses her 21 years of insurance experience to champion consumer-focused policy solutions. With 23 years of leadership, advocacy, and regulatory expertise, Ms. Carter is dedicated to ensuring consumers’ interests are represented in insurance decisions.
